puppet heist: hand of life

What an original concept and well executed room.

Hats off to The Bureau on making such an immersive and unexpected experience and really making a great room.

The story, totally unique and how you help Melvin throughout the experience was just a joy. So thoughtful and so story-driven this could have been just a room with a few locks and it would still be a great game just through the design of Melvin's help throughout your time in this experience.

For the experience, an immersive, large-foot print with a variety of big and small puzzles to tackle. The story really matched the set pieces. The puzzle and flow is more on the linear side but it really made sense as you are progressing the story. 

 

The puzzles were fair, had a nice balance of one-and-done to multi-layered and that balance really served to make a fun experience. 

 

There is plenty to do for this game but it could be accomplished with a couple. This is a great game for the whole family or a great room for someone who loves a good book, story or movie and is on the fence about escape rooms. The pure joy of this one could change their mind (also play UFO here for that person too).

 

Cannot recommend this game enough.
