detective lockwood i

I was not expecting this room to be this good.

Another good example of don't rely solely on Morty's ratings when making a decision on a room because this was an absolute blast to play.

Before we get into the review, please be aware there is a Detective Lockwood I and Detective Lockwood II. They are totally different games and have little in common from a story and nothing in common in game play. They are unique story's that feature the same character and, spoiler alert, both games are great.

But lets talk Version I.

Fun story, all the puzzles you'd hope to expect in a detective-themed room and all done so well. Great mapping, fun story and just a joy to play. 

​

As we progressed we just became happier as how much fun it was to find a cool new puzzle or mechanic to play as we progressed through the story. 

​

Also, this location is just cool. Nice setting, very bright lobby which was just nice to hang out in; not only do we highly recommend the game but just head up, spend the day and run all three rooms. 

​

Their pricing is very affordable and the games we played here were all fantastic - fun and affordable is a lovely and uncommon combination.
