Story
Go camping they said, it will be fun they said, nothing to worry about except some mosquitos.
I think they left the part out of that big hungry monster.
I think would have remember them saying, "we might be chased by a monstrous beast who was very hungry and wants to eat us"
Next time we are just going to do something else like ... a movie or an escape room; something much safer .
Review
This room was an absolute blast.
We knew Escape Ventures makes amazing games but this was out first with more a live-actor woven into the story and it was just fantastic.
This room exemplifies what Escape Ventures so consistently delivers for their rooms. Amazing immersion, unique and fun puzzles and a super fun story.
What really blows my mind is how much they were able to fit into the footprint of the room in terms of puzzles and immersion.
The only deeper immersion they could have done was to add humidity, bugs and maybe a gator or two.
This room is not for the faint of heart. Some really good scares but not without some humor (I have a dark sense of humor as does Escape Ventures and our live actor).
Genuinely love this room and this still remains one of the favorites of our group and one of the few rooms I'd ever play again based on fun-value alone.
Their spot in Port Charlotte is great; highly recommend all three rooms there.
