This was a perfect combination of eye candy and fantastic puzzles and mapping.
Dare2Escape is adept and finding that balance of weaving a great story throughout their puzzles and rooms to really hit that perfect immersion + game play.
This room offered some really unique takes on tried-and-true puzzles that connect right back to the immersion and story.
This is also a great example of a spooky room that can be spooky without live actors. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the experience that a flesh and bone's person can create in a room, but the mood, set dressing and elements in the game do not require any additional effort for the scares. The subject matter is a little more adult-ish (murder investigation) but if your kids attend HHN, this room should be fine for them.
Fair warning, this room is set to be retired so make haste to experience this circus before it's too late.
Story
When was the last time you went to this circus?
It's been ... a few years at least.
Just a few years.
Well ... it only feels like a few years.
Funny, the actors - the characters look exactly like they did when I was a kid.
So what I'm hearing is that it's been more than a few years.
I guess ...
I'm also hearing that they haven't aged; seem odd to you?
Maybe it's just a healthy lifestyle and life on the road?
Or black magic and they do have a connection to the Tillman family.
Everything leads back to that family.
