potion master's apprentice

We have a term for a handful of rooms, and maybe we have three of four in this category. The term is Goldilocks room. A room that is "just right" in terms of balancing theme, story, challenge and variety of puzzle, mapping, lighting, music, etc. Again it's reserved for only a few rooms and this is one of them.

This room had us smiling from the first to last minute.

This is the type of room where you start to slow down because you just want to soak it in. The room is not a simple one, it's the right blend of challenge but you might not need any hints because the intuitive nature of the room and story work so well.

​

Also it has one of the best intros to a room. There is a limited live actor but it works so well and adds to the immersion. 

​

This is a perfect room for couples, families who are into Potter or LOTR or frankly anyone who likes to smile. Literally this is just a joy to play. 

​

I'd be remiss if I didn't also mention the location is so great. It's in a small mall-like area with food and shopping so it's easy to make a day or night of it and the staff - this is one of our favorite places to play and Zach and Shadd are just fantastic. Time permitting spend a few minutes chatting with them post game.
