pins and needles

This is gonna be a long one; similar to my review about the other room at this location; Servants of Sleight.

For those that know, they know (and you can read ahead). But for those newer to playing escape rooms, this location was one of the first in the area to offer a longer, more narrative-driven escape room that includes actors woven throughout their experience. 

​

It is what set this location, formerly The Exit Games and now owned by Escape Ventures.

​

These two rooms remain the measuring stick for immersive story telling combined with fantastic game play. 

 

Where to start about specifics; this experience has one of the most unique and fun starts to a room I've played to-date. Just a perfect jump into the deep end for the story.

 

The story and game play builds slowly which is great, you get a sense of the room and flow. Non-linear, good mapping, intuitive elements and nothing too elaborate (i.e. do 10 things to solve one part of a three-part puzzle). The puzzles are wonderful and tie perfectly to the experience.

 

What happens later in the game is just amazing and I'll say nothing more about it.

 

As the review indicates, this is a scary room. You are never in harms way, no tasers or other elements like that. The fear comes from wonderful story telling, immersion and acting. 

 

It's a delight to play and especially fun with a good group. Great room for four to six people.

Cannot recommend this room and location highly enough. So glad these two rooms found great caretakers with Escape Ventures who will continue the tradition from The Exit Games. They both share the same passion for immersive story telling, passion for escape room and just wonderful people.

Make a trip to play both of the games here as they still remain two of the top in Florida.
