What a fun room.

A characteristic of Edge Escape rooms is they are broad appealing while remaining accessible for everyone regardless of experience level and this room is no exception. 

​

There are a lot of jungle and explorer themed rooms out there and it's a pleasant surprise to come across one with a more unique take on it from a puzzle and game flow perspective -- also a very playful approach to the room aesthetics and set dressing. 

​

One of Edge's charm is that they are a home-brew location and they really do an excellent job of creating fun, immersive games that are not technology heavy. That isn't to say they aren't using tech, they are just selective with the use and it really pays off for their builds. 

​

The story, mapping and puzzle selection for this one is very fun and intuitive. There is a bit of a mix of linear and non-linear elements and puzzles are not too involved or overly complex (i.e. there aren't three layers of puzzles to solve for to accomplish one puzzle).

Highly recommend this room and all the rooms here frankly; all were a blast to play.

My parting observation and it's one that comes after playing at a lot of locations is the pricing places Edge on the more premium-priced end of the spectrum (at least for playing with two players). While the games are a blast, I don't know if I would compare the rooms here with similar priced rooms.
