For those that know, skip ahead, for those new to the site just a disclaimer before the review. 

 

The purpose of the site is to share our love of escape rooms in a fun way. Our hope is we can shed a spotlight on some great small business owners and their craftsmen ship and passion for telling immersive stories. We will always provide a fair review based on our opinion and also offer some thoughts on who might like a room even if that room did not scratch my itch. We only promote rooms we give a 7/10+ on our social channels as it’s not our intent to deter someone from visiting a location as you might love a room we didn’t.

 

With that out of the way …

The good:

Wonderful immersion in set design, sound and special fx 

Great puzzle diversity and fair challenges 

 

The bad:

We skipped two or three puzzles unknowingly and finished the room. 

 

Up to that point we were enjoying the room. There were some challenges with a few puzzles but nothing game breaking.

 

We came across a map, some clues and a five-digit lock. Nothing to indicated this was "the final puzzle". We solved it from the information we had on hand (no brute forcing) and the mapping indicated that was the next step.

 

It wasn’t it. 

 

If you even had the feeling of putting down a can of soda (or pop based on where you live) or maybe something stronger, walked away from your drink and somehow the drink disappeared and you never had a chance to finish said drink … that feeling of unsatisfied is how I left this room. 

 

It wasn’t bad, I just felt like we finished/didn’t finish.

Would highly recommend The Collector or Cremlocke Manor at this location over this one; they are truly outstanding rooms,
