Lovely, immersion-filled, steeped in nostalgia for around 60 minutes. 

 

This room was all sorts of wonderful. 

 

While Dare2Escape is known for their ability to create a fantastic spooky or horror filled room such as Asylum, Seventh Room, The Ringmaster and Archive. However their non-spooky rooms are equally or dare I say (pun intended) better as Camp, Ice Cream Shoppe and this gem of a room, Video Store are a fantastic game. 

 

If you grew up with weekly trips to the video store, this is 100% the game for you and your crew. They lovingly recreate the experience inside and out. The puzzles and game flow map so perfectly to a movie-based escape room and everything lovingly ties together to create a memorable, nostalgic trip back to the video store.

 

I cannot recommend this room enough; bring a crew because it’s a puzzle-dense room with lots to do. This is also a room I absolutely will be replaying in the future.
