REVIEW SUMMARY
Story
Are you going to eat that?
Well ... we are in a diner.
Yeah but ... how old is that thing?
Twinkies have no expiration date.
Perhaps but if you eat that you might speed up your expiration date.
Shhh ... I think I hear shuffling outside.
Review
This was the first large group room we have done and it still remains one of the most fun rooms for a large group we've played to-date.
I can't share specifics but as scary as some elements are the humor is in equal amounts if you have the right group of friends. Also the foot print is very large so this is a rare case of a good of 5-8 can all comfortably fit in the room and more importantly all have something to do.
Think of this as a B-Movie type of scary room, it's a mix of scary, camp and humor and it all works perfectly. Make no mistake, it's still scary but the fun element balances the scares so well.
Depending on which location you are playing, even if you are a scary room fan, play the more family version as the fun/scary really blends well here.
The game play itself, there is a great flow and mapping to the room.
Fun use of the space and very on theme for the room's story. Again, I'm being vague to avoid spoilers.
As I mentioned, this was our first big-team room and remains some of the most fun we've had as a large group.
This is also a good "starter" scary room. If you have a large group it's a bit easier to tuck someone in the back ... for a while at least.
Highly recommend this one for your group of friends that you want to survive the zombie apoplyse with for the evening.
