Story

Is there a reason we chose the old, spooky movie theatre over ... ooohhhh, I don't know, a brand new multiplex that has comfy recliners?

You were out voted.

We are doing an excursion to tour the Grove Theatre while it's still standing.

Wasn't this abandoned in the 1920? Some really weird rumors about strange paranormal things happening and people rumored to be using the grounds for nefarious reasons.

So let me get this straight ... no popcorn?

Review

This is such a fantastic room.

The theme and immersion is top notch. This is a legit movie theatre. The mapping, the build, the branching narrative - just fantastic.

The puzzles are diverse and very appropriate for the story and room. There is a mix of linear and non-linear puzzles but it never loses focus or runs into mapping issues.

This room is a huge footprint so we highly recommend bringing a big crew. This is a great big room that is perfect for that group of 5-8 people. Ample things to keep everyone busy and based on the logistics of the room, many hands makes lighter work (or running back and forth).

Word of caution there is some crawling and climbing elements but everyone will not need to do it. Those elements are cool so would suggest taking a peek if you can.

Spooky vibes throughout so use your judgement for the little ones.

Cannot recommend this room highly enough.
