Story

Alllll aboardddddddd

What are you doing?

I'm ready for the train ride.

Why are you wearing that outfit.

I wanted to be in-theme for this one; I love a train ride.

What train do you think this is? Where do you think we are going?

Why to the North Pole of course

Review

Let's talk positives.

Friends and helpful staff, fun theming picked up on elements of the source material. mapping from puzzle to puzzle was pretty good from a flow perspective.

Things that didn't work for me (they might work for you).

The tasks started to deviate from the story.

I'll spare spoilers but what started to feel like eliminating suspects took some odd turns and it felt like tasks were decided first then they were retrofitted to fit the story.

The physical space. They did a good job of trying to recreate train cars and compartments however it rooms started to feel crammed and I would recommended a crew of 4-5 based on the volume of tasks. It was that delicate balance of theming, space and tasks were at odds.

I am a fan of the Game Over franchise as a few of their games are just fantastic (Toy Maker & Horror Circus) but this one just didn't hit the mark for me.
