If someone says you cannot have a great one-room experience, allow me to introduce you to Mind Masters' Strange Magic.
This is one large footprint of a room and it has arguably the most unique technology and attention to detail I experienced in a room.
Does it also have a wonderful and thoughtful story?

This is a great room to bring in new players, a couples date night or a good room for a team building. There is a nice blend of linear and non-linear elements but wonderful mapping so this room avoids some challenges one-room escape rooms have; information overload or not know what puzzle goes with what solution.
This is one of those rooms I want to forget enough about it so I can play it again.
Cannot recommend this hidden gem of a room enough.
