crypt of the vampire

This was a blast of a vampire room to play.

Right off the bat, lets cover the scary meter. This is spooky but not scary. This is also tame enough, in my opinion, for the whole family. No carnage, no bloody-gooey stories, etc. Just some nice spooky vibes.

What this room does so well is really bringing the narrative of vampires and things spooky to life in authentic but unscary or gory ways. That was really nice to see come to life as typically we would see a gore-fest of assorted body parts and the aftermath of a battle but this is just nice vibes for the theme.

The puzzling ... fantastic and varied. Nice mix of physical, fetch, intuition and using your noodle to figure out the challenges and tasks.

There is also some really smart uses of technology and some old school elements to help move the story along without being hand-held and led to the next puzzle.

Of the four rooms here, this was my favorite.

Highly recommend this one especially during the Halloween season.
