What an immersive gem of a room. 

 

That statement should not surprise anyone who has played a Checkmate room at this location in the past year or so with Potion Master, Aunt Suzy and Bruno. Please avoid any Morty reviews for this room to deter you as the experience is very different than it was previously that might still be reflected in those reviews.

 

Now for the review; holy crap this was a fantastic experience.

 

Live actors alert, this room has them and they add such flair and immersion already to an immersive experience.

 

The room itself, the puzzles and connected narrative is fabulous but the addition of the live actors takes this one over the top in enjoyment. The game flow, tasks and story are so expertly woven together; time flies by just based on the pure enjoyment of the room.

 

Yes, this is a scary room. If scary isn’t your thing … bring some friends to play with so you can hide behind them. This room is worth the scare as nothing is gratuitous; the tension and story progress get amped by the presence of the actors in the room. 

 

Cannot recommend this one high enough. I also suggest playing Potion Master while here as that room is one of my favorites.
