REVIEW SUMMARY

Story
So this is Mulberry Manor?
As the story goes in October in 1871 he and his family were ... like, obliterated
Strong word
What happened to them is basically indescribable
And why are we here?
Well, turns out I am the great, great, great ... great grand nephew of the Mulberry family and I guess the last person in the family line.
Why can't you get a cool inheritance not the mansion which absolutely has all the ghosts.
Lucky I guess.
Review
Of all the Escapology rooms I've played, this might be my favorite. This is just a great scary room.
Usually in an Escapology room there is one thing I just didn't like.
Not enough to spoil a room as genuinely, I think all the rooms we've played were great and I'm pretty sure I recommended all of their rooms except one (this is a story for a different review).
One of their rooms had a tendency to have that one puzzle that was random, or the overly confusing puzzle or complicated for the sake of complication but this room; this room was a joy from the first to the last puzzle. It was a scary, spooky filled delight.
The immersion, puzzle selection and flow of the game is amazing. Just great.
And the set dressing; spooky-scary-eye candy. There is no live actor in this room which usually I would rate a room no "higher" than spooky. However this room really pushes that line into scary.
If you like scary, this is your room. If you like spooky but not scary ... this might be a bit much for you.
Last tidbit here is the footprint is not huge, this is a great two or three person room. You might struggle a bit with four adult-sized humans. We played as a couple and finished with about 5-10 minutes left on the clock.
Cannot recommend this room highly enough.
