SMOKE & MIRRORS:
HOUDINI'S FINAL ESCAPE
Story
Do you know he and his wife Bess made a pact that the first one to die would try to contact the other?
I did not.
What do you think their code word would be?
Their code word; what would our code word be?
...
Boo
If you tried to scare me I swear I'd ...
Nothing ... you'd just have to enjoy the torture of my sense of humor from the afterlife
Review
The attention to detail and weaving into Houdini's history, his background and his connection to the occult was really well done.
For elements that could have been embellished or made more fantastical they were "reserved"; odd statement to write in a room that has tarot, magic and Ouija boards but they really stayed true to the subject matter and developed great puzzles, a variety of tasks and mapping that made the room fun and intriguing throughout.
While the vibe is a little spooky, nothing in here is too scary or would be too much for the kids but use your best judgement.
Loved playing this game for the story, the flow and immersion; a lot of fun.
If you are here playing this one, rebook and also play Two Can Keep a Secret for a perfect spooky/mystical date evening.
