curse of the mummy (puzzle corp)

This review will cover the Puzzle Corp version of this room.

Depending on when you are reading this, Escape Ventures purchased Puzzle Corp and as of this writing, revamping this room and a few others at this location.

This was a fun room and I cannot wait to see Escape Ventures version of it.

Not a criticism on Puzzle Corp at all as I enjoyed their rooms a great deal. However, Escape Ventures are known for creating wonderfully immersive rooms that provide excellent game play. 

​

Overall this room has a lot of fun, really diverse puzzle, fun little story, cool theme to the experiences throughout which mapped well to the story and a very unexpected ending which , as a fan of Thy Why files channel on YouTube, it was a right up my alley.

Now, that being said this room needed some TLC. The immersion was fine but the room was showing it's age as some of the puzzles and locks were in disrepair or very difficult to see (e.g. one of the locks had many missing letters which was not intentional)

That being said, even with it's age it was a really well done room; great flow and game play which goes back to my earlier statement that I genuinely cannot wait to replay this one once EV takes it under it's wing.
