Story

Dun-dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun

Dun-dun-dun-dun, dun-dun-dun-dun

You know ... I'm not even mad that you've been humming that song for the last 45 minutes.

Review

1981 one of my favorite movie franchises (thankfully they only ever made three movies) released and I still to this day remember seeing it on the big screen. Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Walking into the room, let alone playing this game really connected back to that 8 year old who sat in that theatre.

It's not just the grandeur and set design. It's the flow, the tasks, the puzzles the mapping - everything.

It just is that perfect spiritual connection to that feeling that no other room I played (including Keepers; lovely, lovely room that has great vibes but JJ delivered the style, challenge and substance).

Lets talk about that substance for a minute.

We typically play as a couple and love a high volume of tasks and puzzles to play through.

This room we finished right at the 75 minute mark and were going at a furious pace. We joked after that we both felt "on" and up for the room that day and thankfully we were based on what needed to get accomplished.

In short, bring friends because there is no shortage of things to do. Great mix of linear and non-linear elements and honestly we could play it again and swap roles and I'd see things I didn't on the first play through.

This room is very special and if you too love the three-movie series (yes, they only made three rooms); cue your personal travel montage and make your way to Middleburg to experience this one.
