Exterminated: terror at the junkyard

Is Exterminated in the conversation for my favorite room to play?

Yes

Arguably this is my top two or three in Florida without a question.

​

This is also possibly my favorite room that can best be tackled as a couple vs a larger group. 

​

Truly this is my defintion of a perfect room.

Why you ask

​

Allow me to elaborate: 

​

Story? Awesome 

It's the perfect blend of B-Movie, horror movie blending horror and humor.

​

Immersive? You bet

The set dressing is damn good. This could serve as a great example of how to really build immersion without having to over tech a room. 

​

Puzzles mapping to the story? Of course

An amazing variety and density of puzzles to tackle and the mix is truly fantastic. Some very unique takes on tried and true elements all that completely match the environment

Scary live actor? sorta but not that bad

Nothing gratuitous and your interaction will be limited. I'll say no more about it but this might be a good "starter" room for those who don't like scary. There are ways to avoid some scares for those more timid. 

 

The footprint: Intimate without claustrophobic 

I joked with the owner that I am dying to see what they could do with a new room if they had a large footprint. The amount of atmosphere, puzzles and fun that are in this space really defy physics as it feels intimate without cluttered.

Is this their best game here?: Debatable 

Operation Green Bean is a delight and you should play both rooms during your visit (and Fallout too)

This location has three amazing rooms all award winning and all deserve it. I highly recommend going to Evasive to spend a lovely weekend day to play all three. We can then debate which room is better.
